Protection Design and Consulting President Steve Leyton was confirmed as Chairman of the NFPA 14 Technical Committee by the NFPA Standards Council during their Spring meetings, April 5-6 2016. Steve has served on the Technical Committee for Installation of Standpipes since the 2000 cycle, representing the American Fire Sprinkler Association. Over the 15 years he has served on the Committee, Steve has become a widely regarding expert on standpipes, firefighting water supplies, pumps and pressure regulation.
